Crossing the Prairie

I am a mom of three kids, living in Germany with my military husband. Rome was born in 2005, 2 months premature. Daniel and Lina came home from Ethiopia in July of 2007 - Daniel was born in 2002, and Lina, his biological sister, was born in 2006. In my pre-kid life, I was a teacher, and I still have an intense interest in learning and child development. I speak French, some Spanish, and ugly but functional German. I hate laundry, and I love to cook. I love being a stay-at-home mom, but I sometimes miss my job. I love living in Europe for so many reasons, but I miss family and friends back home, and the convenience of everything around me happening in my native language. And I like to write.  Obviously.
