Crossing the Prairie

Okay, so Halloween is not really my thing. I’m cheap, so I borrowed costumes from a friend (thank you, Lisa!), and the kids looked adorable, and really loved trick-or-treating (duh). I was worried that Danny and Rome would be scared by all the wierdness, but they were champs. All the bravery they can muster comes into play when candy is involved.  Even a Halloween Grinch like myself has to enjoy their enthusiasm. Next year, when they have a clue what’s going on, I promise I’ll let them pick out their own costumes. But you can’t tell me they didn’t look unbelievably cute.
